Default Help - Has The Sat Moved?

    Hi People,

Now please be gentle as I admit to being a big newbie, however I had a question about the location of the sat with fox on it. I originally used to get F*xtel back b4 the big blackout about 4 or so years ago. Anyway I tried connecting my mates legitimate f*xtel box and card to my sat and it is saying the channels are scrambled. So then I connected my old humax and had no joy there either - all I could get with the hummer - no card inserted was Imparja and the shopping network. I just thought that when I put the fox box back on it would have come straight back on as the box and card are legit - is it just that my dish is pointing the wrong way? Oh yeah I can also see the Optus tuning channel. Any help would be hugely appreciated. Cheers

Is the fox box LNB setting matching your dish?

Not too sure to be honest my mate didn't bring the remote so I couldn't stuff around with the menus. So I take it I should go in there and change the settings? Is this just a case of trying a few different settings? as I am not really too sure what the lnb settings are.

His is probably 10700 and yours 11300 or the other way around. That is all you'll have to change. Or wotever lnb lo your hummy is set to.

Always check tvsn first (it's fta) to see if hardware is ok.
