    Default Nokia 9200/9500 Probs

    Hey guys,

    trying to get the noks working.....

    2 Q's .........1. How do I get into access the menu without a remote? and

    2. Once loaded, why does it show a dish symbol with a line accross it?

    Is the cam the prob? Its running a 1.07

    What SW/bootloader do you have installed? do you need a remote? I have a spare if you are interested

    The dish symbol with a line across it means no signal.
    You could talk to it with DVBedit via null modem cable.
    Can't remember how much you can control this way.

    I had a remote for it but it wasnt with the box when I pulled it out of the cupboard. I'll look for it over the weekend, if I cant find it yes i'll need one. PM me with a price.

    Null Modem cable..... I'll check to see if I have that also! hehe I should learn to keep things together eh.

    if you want to get anything you will need a 1.13f (2.3) cam.
    FTA 2.4 will turn it into a normal box.
    i am using dvb2000 ver 2.00.0 beta6 it is a bit slow on channel change but works great with SCSI cable connected (recording/logging) .
    to find out what bootloader you have just plug it into power and look at display.
