Problems running Garmin Mobile XT on 'Scanfast" 7" GPS

Evening folks,

I purchased a 7" Chinese 'cheapy' GPS from eBay () and I am getting a Read Access violation. The exact error is:
Read access violation at data address 0x226ff000 program address 0x001aodf8 in background thread NULL (Main InitInstance).

When I hit OK, I get a black screen with the Garmin logo in the centre, and 'Mobile XT Copyright 2008...." at the bottom and it just sits there.

Strange thing is, it worked fine the first time a ran it (to get the card ID), however ever since, I get an error - even if I remove the program and reinstall.

Has anyone had any luck installing Garmin Mobile XT on one of these 7" Devices?

its all here in this section, works on my 7" which is similar to yours
