If you have your sub card, pop it into your card reader, then FMCard. Should give you your HSN.....

Is anyone able to explain why/how an ACS V5 HSN is able to work in conjunction with Ird 1 details on a goldie, I was also surprised when I read the card again with LM edit to find that the PK's had updated?

lol....put 123456 as the HSN and it'll still work..

as long as you have a valid PrID & PMK the PKs will update and give you pics.

    your wasting your time..

Yes he is, HSN can be anything on the Aurora card as long as you don't want a fully updating card, the moment the EMK's are rolled the card will stop giving pictures, as cards are addressed via HSN to update the PMK and/or Provider ID

Do you know how often Aust** roll the EMK's AL? I suppose every minute??
So if I had a valid PMK & provid stuck it on an ird2 card somehow, it would update till the emk rolled?

Austar Ird2 roll EMK updates every 10-15 days atm (minimum) or do you mean Aurora Ird1 ?

If you have those Aurora details, why dont ya just stick em on a goldie..why worry about an Ird2 card.

Am i pissing into the wind here..

I already do, but they will eventually be changing to Ird2 and yes i was talking about Austar. What I am saying is if I had a valid sub card, entered those details somehow onto an ird2 card, PMK, HSN, etc would it update?

No...When they change to Ird2 there wont be any need for your ird1 details.

What about my Ird2 details I have, can they be loaded? I suppose they won't give all channels like goldie because they didn't need channel ids. But If i had a austar sub card, could I copy the details to another card and would it work/update if it were possible to do that

They call it Irdeto 2 instead of Irdeto 1 because its a different version of that Encryption, if you could do what you are asking with Irdeto2 details, they would call it Irdeto 1.

considering FMcard is generally used for Ird1....does anyone know if the Key calc function in FMcard will calculate an Ird2 PMK if one had their HMK's & EMK's?
