    Default Meter misreading woes.

I received the bill today that was 'read' on the 14th of February and sure enough it reflects my belief it was underestimated on the last quarter by going from a $128 to $511.
By underreading by my estimation of around a 1000 units on the last bill, this in NSW with Integral means I went into a higher rate.
One rate is to 1700 units used, then it increases for units used above so guess where I ended up.
First of all, I HAVE used those units billed but not as they have been calculated.
I just didnt think quickly enough last quarter to realise the $128 amount was rather low because one of my sons moved out and we just werent using some appliances as before. But it reality it should have been closer to double that.
I dont object to paying for what I use but this inaccuracy plays hell on a limited income.
I have taken pics of the meter to record the readings as I did before in a posting called 'Meter Readings for Dummies so I can keep a visual record of the meter dial positions.
