    50-200 depends on

    location
    wall type
    a/c breed
    single/dbl story
refrigeration guy's attitude and how you treat him/her

get friendly with the smallest business in town ie one man and a ute full of crap and he might do it for a carton or two if you can offer a service in return... fix his pc etc.

thats what i did anyway. cost me 2 cartons of xxx gold and install a new tv on his bedroom wall.

    Hi Just Dave.
Install prices will vary depending on the size of your A/C as well
If it is a small bedroom Air Con and can go on an existing power circuit it will be a lot cheaper than if you have to run a dedicated circuit back to the switch board.
But very roughly for a install that is back to back (the pipes run straight out the wall and down to the condenser)
You would be looking at roughly $500 and up for a small unit and about $750 and up for a larger unit.

I paid 450 for a back to back 2.5 HP , replacing an exisitng wall mount so 15A wiring was already in place. took him no more than 2hrs tops.
the retailer wanted $660 and i used the same subbie , paid him direct.
