    Default Vast Qld

    I was wondering does Vast Qld have Southern Cross as well as Seven and Ten?
    I looked on the TV guide and it shows S Cross and Imparja but I was wondering
    is that guide just showing Aurora and Vast combined or just Vast?.

    Is it
    SC =7
    10=10
    Imparja= 9

    Southern Cross appears to hold licences for 'different' channels throughout the country.
    On Aurora SC is 7 but both on VAST and Terrestial FTA, SC seems to be broadcasting the TEN network which used to be Capitol in South & West NSW.
    There is 7 and Prime and 9/WIN/NBN and Impaja !!
    Confusing isnt it??
    The only way sometimes is to get a current TV guide to see who is showing what so you know where you are.
    I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

    VAST has the full compliment of individual networks/channels, Aurora doesn't.

    eg: SCTV on Aurora is a combination of 7 & TEN programming.

    Southern Cross Media broadcasts heaps of different channels from their facility in Canberra.

    * SCTV Darwin
    * SCTV Tasmania
    * SCTV Port Pirie/Broken Hill
    * SCTV Central
    * SC Ten Queensland
    * SC Ten NSW
    * SC Ten ACT (Capital Television)
    * SC Ten Victoria
    * SC Ten Port Pirie/Broken Hill
    * Ten Darwin
    * Ten Mildura
    * Ten Tasmania
    * Ten Central
    * SC Nine Port Pirie/Broken Hill

    All areas have a full range of multi-channels except SCTV Darwin and the Port Pirie/Broken Hill channels. Also, all the SCTV's show both Seven and Ten programming (usually only Ten's AFL matches these days).

    I know from aquantainces in Whyalla and Pt Lincoln that although they went 'Digital' on the 15th of December and they now have the basic 5 channels, they dont have all the extra 'bits' yet due to some upgrading of the transmitters being needed.
    The forecast dates for this were I think, 'In May'.
    Better than it was before.
