    Default Red Button Interactive Services

    Hi All

I have a DM 800 HD running well on cable but does anyone know how I can access the fuxtel red button services?

For example when the Football is on and Fuxtel have viewers choice where multiple games are shown at once and you access them via the red button how can you do this on the DM 800?

The red button is linked to the recording function.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

Do you mean the multi-screen channel, used for things like 'Choose your own V' and the 'Animation' shows?

Not sure what choose your own v and animation are.

Let me give another example, when you watch Sky news you can hit the red button (assuming you were using a foxtel box) and chose multiple news feeds.

For the Football (soccer) as there are up to 9 games on at the same time, usually via Fox sports one you hit the red button then it gives you a multi screen and you select which game you want to watch.

I think the general term is interactive channels.

    Thanks

On sat, they are broadcast as SPM, SPH, SPA and SPB channels.
That's for the multiple football streams.

I don't believe anyone has the Sky News Local working on a third-party box yet?

I am using cable however, not so fussed about Sky News but more interested in getting the multiple football broadcasts.

    Any idea about cable?

Not sure about cable but from memory there has been posts in the past on this forum (sat section). Try a search on "interactive channels'' or similar .

I have searched via the forums and all the posts I could find seem to be around sat and not cable. Not sure if that makes a difference?

I followed some people tips and looked for SPM, SPH, SPA and SPB channels.

Last night via Fox Sports there were 5 football games on.

1 on fox 3 and the other 4 via interactive.

On SPA I had audio only but this was 1 of the 5 games.

Under "spare" one of the channels had rugby and the other had the Sydney MCR colour test screen.

SPH - This had one of the games on.

SPM - This has screen selector where you could see the 4 games you would select from by with no sounds and you could not navigate on it. You would normally get this pop up once you hit the red button on fox box.

"sattest" - This had the game that was on Fox 3 but it had the viewers choice image in the corner.

So out of the 5 games I could watch 2 and hear 1.

I am in Sydney on cable so any ideas where the other 2 games were and how I could get video on the one that I had audio only?

    I am using a DM800.

    Thanks

Not too many people using cable boxes twitch. Most with farktel cable like me install a sat dish and use the cable card in the dreambox (at other locations).

Must admit I still haven't got it sorted right on the other 3 Dreams (sat) I have.

I have a dm500c that I have not used for years. Can anyone else here help twitch?

I would love to use Sat but the Body Corp of the unit where I live allow nothing externally. I am the ground unit and surrounded by other large blocks and trees so not even possible to stick a sat disk somewhere sneaky.

Trust me I have tried everything so can only use cable but would love to be able to get all the interactive sport channels.jamesv appreciate your help.

Anyone else that can add anything here?

Not sure if its any help or not, but when the Olympics was on multi channel I had similar problems with audio and video and had to switch from CCcam to MGcamd. This is with sat.

There was a thread about it so it may be worth a search.
