where did you see them grape , i have originals
Just wondered if anyone here is using the Azbox Premium HD clone?
And if you are happy with the unit.
Changes only seem to be very slight cosmetic ones.
Has its own MAC address and all the normal goodies inside.
At $250 AUD, seems pretty good value.

dont say linux if i wanted it id install it
Ebay USA have them and the clones are called Azbox Bravoo. They are being sold by the old Azbox USA dealer in Florida who lost the distribution rights.
They are clones of the older Premium not the newer Premium Plus and at $250 I think I would pay the extra and get a genuine Premium Plus @ $385 or an Ultra for $295.
Cheers,

Pictures and details comparing the Original with Clone can be found on the front page of Azbox site.
Changes seem to be mostly cosmetic.
Plenty of other places offering the same deal.. nothing new, been out for a while now.
As Leroy said, you'd rather a Premium +, but for $280 delivered to your home, its pretty good i thought?

In terms of pricing there is only marginal difference i wouldn't buy the clones..Most clones known for heating issues & badly built...
Location: Sunny Perth
Apparently the clone tuners are not supported with the new enigma2 firmware being developed.

I don't understand the negative feedback for the comments I made above.
"You'd say that wouldn't you"
I'm not sure what it means exactly but I've had an Azbox in the stable for some time now so that's the reason I know a little about them and what's happening. The genuine item is not much more than the clone with the later versions now blindscanning. It makes sense to me to pay the extra but maybe not everyone can afford one.
The primary reason for having one of these receivers in my view is for finding and viewing 4:2:2 feeds but they are capable of much more! And the pictures are great!!

Leroy

What negative feedback??? am i missing something?
Mate... i didn't even know you could do that?
Anyway, i do know you have owned an AZBOX for some time now, so appreciate your comments, same with 666
The genuine AZBOX Premium + i found on ebay for $385, comes with a $100 freight cost to Oz.
So not really that cheap when you add it up
