    Default Old Teletype

Ive got an old teletype that I dont want, model 100 type 1,the old grey unit. Cant seem to give it away so this is the year, 2011, that I'll have to dice it in the dump, what a shame, anyone want it (free).

Sheesh, I would put my hand up, but shudder to think of the postage.
Just off hand may I suggest the " Power House Museum ", Ultimo.
Please don't trash it as I'm sure that there are many who would be interested.
Kindest Regards, " The Druid ".

I was 4 and I do remember it. A bunch of neighbors gathered, in the evening, and a lot of kids, to see it go by. This was in Seattle. I remember that the people who launched it were the "bad guys" and that this was bad news.

Regardless of my inhibitions, I'm interested if still available.

    Where are you Humax...?
I used to work on these in the 70's. Brings a tear to my eye to think of it being dumped.

AWA Engineering Division at North Ryde in the 70's, complete with the massive tape drives.
Then we (AWA) developed the VTE Series of video terminals.
Australia was once a leader in technology.
