iiNet, TPG, iprimus and heaps more. All you need is a voip modem and your normal everyday telephone to plug into it. With Naked DSL plans, you'll typically get your Internet and voip service bundled for very reasonable price and you'll no longer be paying line rental on your phone line.

Cheapest for many call types is Pennytel, if you don't have hardware though MyNetFone is a good option, they have a Whirlpool deal which is quite cheap

For historical reasons I have two VOIP providors, Freshtel and Freecall.
The advantage of Freecall is that you are able to choose either ten cent un-timed local and national calls or one cent-a-minute local and national calls.
I find Freecall's VOIP provisioning extremely good while their advice and backup service is excellent.

When I was researching VOIP, I discovered that Telstra research indicates that the average time for a local or national call is under three minutes, which makes one cent-a-minute charging very attractive.

These days, the larger Internet Service providors also offer VOIP services. Check their web sites.

I have pennytel, But how with a bundle with BP you get free local and std calls so I only use pennytel for calls to mobiles (=10cent per min)

Also if you have a pennysim (pennytel moblie sim card) you can call your home voip for 0 cents in fact any pennytel number for 0 cents
