    Arrow Tecom TS0862 RJ45 reader pin-outs

Coming to the last steps of setting up my ex-work-now-for-home Tecom TS0816 alarm.

Was looking at having the door controller TS0862 Version 0.03 with swipe readers working so I could badge in and out to arm/disarm the alarm (keep the wife very happy, she giggled when I told her about my idea). However the TS0862 has "J2" as a RJ45 to connect the reader up instead of a terminal block.

As per the Manual, J2 has the following connections:

    BZ
    L1
    L2
    D1
    D0
    0V
    +
    EG

Now what do those match up to on the RJ45?

I have a stack of HID ProxPoint which came with it, but unfourtunatly the RJ45 connections to the TS0862 had already been removed before I got there

    Any ideas?

Looking at the front of the RJ45 socket, with the locking groove on top:

    Left to Right is 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1
    8 is EG
    7 is +5v
    6 is 0v
    5 is D0
    4 is D1
    3 is LD1 (Led 1)
    2 is LD2 (Led 2)
    1 is BZ (Buzzer)

    Have fun

You should be able to download that from the tecom.com.au website. The user is "tecom" and password is "4346" or it was the last time i went there.

That wasn't the password, but ironically enough I e-mailed GE's support site and asked them for the password, at which time they e-mailed me back with it. Too funny. I then proceeded to do a wget --mirror on their whole site, 8 hours later (dang it's slow!), I have a full copy.

They had about 20 or so corrupted PDF's or whatever, but mostly the site downloaded fine.

Anyone want the password just PM me.

The usernname and password have changed. GE's support has been telling everyone it's:
    User: general
    Password: v8challenger
