Default changing default folders in win 7 tip

a lot of you probably already do this but for those who dont, heres a good way to protect your data in case of a windows crash

find some space on another drive or partition (anything but C drive)
    now make some folders like
    docs-pictures-videos-music-email
move your docs, pics, music, videos to these folders
now in your left task pane right click on documents, go properties
include a folder (choose new docs folder) make it default
    remove other locations, c\user\documents ect
do the same for others - pics-music-videos
now when you click on the shortcuts, it will take you to the new location
    eg. x:\docs
now if & when windows crashes (as it will) you wont loose your stuff

for the email you need to go to live mail, options, advanced, maintenance, store folder, change it to the x:\email\ folder you made
