From what I can see
F*xtel = Murdoch
N*S = Murdoch
therefore F*xtel = N*S
This may be something that many of you already know the answer ... but I often wondered the 'politics' (if any) behind A* using IR2 and not same as F*L ?
OK - they are commercial competitors - but they share same programming (whatever agreements were made) - so the logical process would be to use same encryption ...
There must have been some good reason for the different paths chosen ...
Does anyone know the behind the scene on this?

correct me if i,m wrong but i thought the new flinders box was capable of doing both systems with minimal upgrades
actually if I'm not mistaken the worldvu 600 will do both Irdeto and NDS. At least thats what the menu says on conditional access for both card readers.
worldvu 600 is also known as openbox x-810. Press menu button then enter 1117 for secret menu which gives more options.
I can't post links here but if you go to sat-television they have a firmware 5.33 which it allows you to enter irdeto2 keys in emu. Personally have not tried it but looks interesting.
Please let me know if anybody has tried it
