    Default Mysat Logging

I want to have a play with some old Mysat files and some log details may be useful.

Does anyone here have the PID details for logging Mysat ?

    Hi Best4less

Are you sure about these settings? I have tried these but I can not get them to work.

My setup should be good as I can log Austar on C1 with no problems.

Would you have settings for Jade as I will also try that.

PID could be 0x500 or 0500

OK I have tried all the suggestions with no success.

I will give up for the moment however I would love to hear from anyone who has this working - I have been using Ird Extract OK logging Austar recently... and I have logged select OK in the past as well.

Mysat is a slow one and there are only a handfull of lucky numbers that survived the last raffle.

Thanks - I have set this up again this morning however I am yet to see any logging happenning. When I view the miscellaneous log it is constantly attempting to connect cycling through messages like below.

    19 Mar 2011 20:14:52 Attempting to connect to 192.168.1.107:31338
    19 Mar 2011 20:14:53 TCP Socket Error
    19 Mar 2011 20:14:53 Sending HTTP Header
    19 Mar 2011 20:14:53 TCP Socket Error
    19 Mar 2011 20:14:53 Not Connected

    19 Mar 2011 20:14:53 Attempting to connect to 192.168.1.107:31338
    19 Mar 2011 20:14:54 TCP Socket Error

    19 Mar 2011 20:14:54 TCP Socket Error

Now my setup is right because if I switch to say Austar I can log that no worries. Switch back to PAS 8 I receive signal e.g. the Arab Channel but I get the above constantly?

BTW I am not looking for any specific HSN in the stream.. more so to just get a good log so I can see if I can play around with some old files for learning (btw please pm me if anyone has anything that may be useful)

My thoughts are that the PID and seperator values are not correct. Please, if anyone has anything ...I am all ears.

With A dreambox the Simple way to find the CaPID (Logging Pid) is to install the plugin Cryptinfo

I have installed the crptoinfo plugin and unfortunately the best i get out of it is "no info FTA" or "unable to decode"

Any other ideas to find the correct logging parameters for MySat or any other Providers on PAS 8 ?

    Default log

    use the pid logger

    mysat log

MYSAT PID is 0500 use 0x500
    PanGlobal PID is 0501
jade PID is 0500 pid logger wont work
    Select PID is 0500

you can also use the X or X0 for all Prov PID,,,,, 0x500 or 0x0500

make sure you put it on the Prov channel that you are logging....

I loaded an old mysat bin to a whitey, but cant find any log for the HSN.
So I just put it in a Strong 4668x and Rai shows pics.
No other channels from same provider or transponder show pics.
When you take card out Rai becomes scrambled.

Tried same card in Humax 5410z and says invalid card.
    I guess its a non-tweaked bin file??
