Uec faulty

G'day, Had my 1st UEC VAST Decoder go down today Installed 23/12/2010. It's dead not powering up, was curious if anybody else has had any issues. No probs with UEC as far as warranty goes got a replacement on the way(12 month warranty). But My main concern is the other 50 i've sold or installed, i may have a few pissed off customers once the warranty period has expired.

There's a few VAST threads where some people have reported UEC faults, such as yours.

Most have been about freezing/glitches, which appears to have been largely overcome with the recent firmware upgrade, but like any manufacturer, there will obviously be boxes that wil 'die' for various reasons.

Like any new product, the UEC boxes haven't been in service for long enough to guage long-term reliability.
