    Default Remote login to router

I am trying to login to a dlink di 524 and not getting far have done this on other routers maybe I am having a brain freeze.
Have gone into admin/tools enabled remote host
    changed admin PW
    entered ip 192.168.0.1
    port 80
As as I know if you leave it port 80 and enable remote you should just put the ip in right?

If you are trying from the internet then you need to use the IP of the WAN side...

    # Remote Management

Remote Management allows the device to be configured through the WAN (Wide Area Network) port from the Internet using a web browser. A username and password is still required to access the browser-based management interface.

IP Address :Internet IP address of the computer that has access to the DI-524. If the IP address is set to 0.0.0.0, this allows all Internet IP addresses to access the DI-524.
Port :The port number used to access the DI-524.
    Example :
whereas x.x.x.x is the WAN IP address of the DI-524 and 8080 is the port used for the Web-Management interface.

The other routers I have used if you leave the port as 80 you get the routers server and just login
am using 122.xxx.xxx.xxx no port number
Did try 8080 under tools remote but all hell broke lose and wouldnt even let me logon
also tried leaving it as 0.0.0.0 and tried again but no luck
Have a dlink here too (the other is remote) and tried to logon using a dnns I have setup still no luck
If you could do me a fav I will pm the address and you can try my dlink
