Unhappy Sharp twin Ku-band Lnb problem.

Just been playing around with tuner configuration on my STB & fined out can't lock up signal on all horizontal transporders on C1/D3.
Somebody have any idea that my LNB became faulty or may be settings?
All vertical transporders locking just fine.

I've try last time, but can't catch any transporder.
What settings & hardware do you use for that?
It was working for me about 3 years ago or so.

    G'Day Cobber,
If its been going for a few years, I venture to say that you have a 11300 LNB
Since the launch of D3, many channels have migrated to D3 for which you require a 10700 LNB. Preferably a 10700 Twin/Dual output LNB.
You then need to change your LNB configuration in the STB.

Which polarity uses 13V and which is 18V ?
There is a possiblity that A/ the LNB cant switch because its faulty or B/the problem is in the STB.
A remote possibity is a problem in the connection at LNB end like moisture ingress.
A friend had one die as the day got warmer , worked ok at night or when it rained but eventualy it had to be replaced.
If I have read your post correctly the LNB is several years old so it may just be time to be retired.

The simplest way of testing is to try a known working STB on the LNB and see what happens unless you have other testing gear available.

make sure the skew is correct on your lnb
may have come loose or been moved by a bird landing on it

    G'Day Cobber,
This may indeed be your problem.
The settings in your STB do not match the LNB that you are using.
10700 LNB requires your STB to be set to the same, 10700.
I stated that a couple of posts ago.

Kindest Regards, " The Druid ".
