    Default Customer Expectations

Ever had a customer who asks if you can zoom in or enhance video? Well here's a tube clip that outlines the very reasons they expect so much. Enjoy

If I had a dollar for every time I've been asked.......

I actually had a client once who had asked that I go back through some footage of a shop lifting incident with him. He'd done it himself and had figured out how to freeze and zoom, but buggered if he could find that illusive enhance button. I nearly looked around for a camera crew, but no, he was serious. Too much CSI for that man.

I only ever specify systems which have the "uncrop" capability.

The A3 from the waste disposal would be very streaky wouldn't it?

We have had several enquiries for full colour ptz cameras with remote monitoring cms and internet by client, and all the other goodies. Then they get told the price range of $10,000's+ for what they are after, but will get sales to visit them for a proper quote. They ask if we do a cheaper version say $400-$600! (Yes we do! Suggest they get a few "you are under constant video surveillance" stickers and a few dummy cameras.) They can, with the money left over buy a nice pillow and a cup of Milo and have a little lay down.
