Need help to setup Oscam - DM800 (Gemini)
Hi All,
I know how to setup Oscam in DM500 (Jade) but I am having trouble in DM800 (Gemini).
The folders in DM800 are not the same as DM500 & also I am new to "Gemini".
What I did so far:
(1) put oscam.conf, oscam.user & oscam.server in /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam
(2) put oscam in usr/bin
In DM500, I had to create a text file Oscam" & put it in "var/etc/plimgr/cardservers" but I can't find such folder in DM800.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The text file is to enable u to select "oscam" as a "Card Server" in "Softcam" setup without using telnet.
I am still not sure how do enable "oscam" as the Server in Gemini.
This may come as some surprise .. but /var/etc/plimgr/cardservers is peculiar to pli images and will certainly not be in Gemini .. I guess the plimgr in the middle might be a clue for that ...

instead of putting oscam bin in usr/bin try var/bin and you need to get a start script for oscam to start it b4 cccam or mgcamd you put that into var/keys or usr/keys file chmod all to 755 see how you go???cheersOriginally Posted by gl007
