Hi,
We have two legit cards from an "overseas" pay tv provider and I am wondering If I someone could tell me what version/ any info on them. Its used through a Humax ND-2100S.
The card has 3 serial numbers at a guess the serial number I am after is this one:
4A ###### #####
Any help is appreciated,
Cheers, Alex.

When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all
The subscriptions are with 1nd0v1s10n.
I have just checked the other card, I will see if I can post up a picture.

I have been doing abit of reading would like to start playing gear. What programmer should I get? Phoenix unlimited or CAS3+ to play with cams aswell, I know it depends on exactly want I want to do.
At the moment trying to find out what sort of card/cpu/eeprom and see if its worth getting reader for it. by small chance its an older version of ND$ (still got alot to learn in that reguards)
I have a spare humax and might consider getting a dreambox which is why I asking.
Cheers, Alex.

S-band is total different to what your using now. Forget all about NDS, or any other encryption.
S-band is as different as C-band is to Ku band.
Satellite coverage will require a 3 meter solid dish, and the footprint comes down to about Newcastle, below that think 4.7 or 5 meter dishes.
S-band will also require a different LNB, as C-band does compared to Ku,
You will also require a Pace DVS-112 receiver, plus an Indovision smartcard.
At one time , and I'm going back about 10 or 12 years Sciteq in Perth carried all the relative equipment for this service
As for the overseas smart cards, they will make nice ice scrapers for your windscreen, No two NDS systems are the same, and even if you could identify the services there intended for, you will also require a compaterable NDS receiver to go with them, That's if you can get satellite coverage for the services
