    Default Solution 16plus remote arming

    Just had the system installed by a friend who is a licensed installer. Installed the system without no dramas and included the RF Keyfobs as part of the installation.

    What we can't work out is how to change the strobe arming and disarming flashes. Are these factory preset or can they be changed. We can't see any options in the Solution link software.

    Any ideas?

    Bobby

    Cool

    To enable / disable strobe on arm / disarm - menu 215
    As far as I know that is all you can do. While we're on the subject , has anyone got a list of receivers that will work on the 16+ ie. D , C , N & I type receivers and how do you tell what type a receiver is ?

    What did you want to change about it?
    When enabled in menu 215 it will give about 10 flashes when armed and about 20 flashes when disarmed. This is preset and I don't think it can be changed.

    Is this what you needed
    Menu 350
    0 = Disabled
    1 = Latching - On/Off (RF Relay)
    2 = Momentary - On/Off (RF Relay)
    3 = Digiflex RF On/Off
    4 = Bosch Serial Receiver
    5 = Crow Serial RF Receiver
    6 = Ness Serial RF Receiver
    7 = Inovonics Serial RF RX
    8 = Secure Wireless RF RX

    Thanks for the info,

    It was more for me not wanting the neighbours to know when the system is armed or not. I already disabled the horn beeps when arming / disarming(would be a bit much at 2am). I was hoping more for a 3 on and 5 off or simmilar. Doesn't matter. Will have to do with it as is.

    Thanks,

    Bobby

    You can always put a dual color LED in your siren box, green when your home red when your away. Gives you verification that the alarm is on when you leave.

    You can also change the volume and the speed of the Horn Speaker beeps.
