VGA Resolution for Pacom PDR-9LX
I wondering is there is a way to change the VGA screen resolution on the above DVR.
I thought it was DVR playing up.
I tried it on 2 newish LCD VGA Monitors but it didnt like the screen resolution..
Tried it then on old CRT VGA Monitor and found out it is running at 640x480.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
cheers

Nope. The resolution on these DVRs is fixed. It might be worth contacting DAS/PACOM to see if there's a firmware upgrade that allows you to change it.
Just had a firmware upgrade done on it last week, and the resolution is still fixed.
Oh well, I will just have to put a Monitor on it that has a resolution of 640x480.
thanks

VGA connection resolution is fixed for all the standard def PACOM DVRs.
If you want a better quality/appearance, try the BNC/Composite output to an appropriate monitor.
The quality of the picture on the screen is NOT the problem. It just alot of modern VGA Monitors cannot display at 640x480 or 800x600, they are designed for higher resolutions because thats what modern computers are displaying at.
Anyway problem fixed by putting a older LCD Monitor on it.
