boating, camping and fishing BCF ????
I'm looking at getting a solar panel to keep a battery (possibly dual batteries) charged in my camper trailer to run an Engel 60L fridge and some LED lighting and maybe a 12V stereo setup. I am thinking of about a 120W panel and reg, but found there are a few different types available and was wondering what are the most cost effective ones to get (ie poly chrystalline, monochrystalline etc) and any recommendations for suppliers, and things to look for or other tips.

Remote Telecom towers have panels on sale for quite cheap too i have heard.
Don't get your panels at BCF. They charge like wounded bulls for milliamps.
Jaycar are not too bad. All the panels I've bought from them are at spec or better. Their PWM regulators are good also and radio quiet.
Ebay is lucky dip. LHP are way under spec but some sellers are okay.
Mono or poly are not terribly different but thin film or amorphous panels are very large for their output. Their advantage is they handle shadows better but that shouldn't be an issue for camping so I'd go with Mono if possible.
