    Default Eset Nod32 removal

I downloaded a copy of NOD32 from a site and it worked for a few months but then something happened and now I cant update it without a username/password I never had so I am guessing its way out of date.
Everytime the computer starts up pops the NOD 32 screen which is annoying as I have to shut it down because it wont run.
I have tried to delete it but I cant find it to do so.
I hav tried 'search' , Add/Remove etc but nothing shows.
Its on a Toshiba laptop running WIN7 which I barely use so I am lost navigating around it.
The version I had was 4.0.417.0.
    Any directions please?
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

NOD isnt a free product as far as I know so you either have a trial copy or a pirate copy.

Start, Control Panel, Programs and Features is where you should be able to add/remove it. Or click Start, All programs as there may be an uninstaller there.

As Sanity says: Go to Start, Control Panel, Programs and Features and it will probably be listed as Eset nod32...Mine is listed as Eset Smart Security

it wont uninstall bcoz of the log file
    go to services
disable the 2 nod services (eset)
then uninstall it, delete the eset\nod32 program folder also

    or use this

I think I have finaly succeeded in deleting it at last.
The problem I was having is it wont allow any deletion while it is still running and I couldnt work out how to Stop/Disable the program.
Once I got it stopped in that 'Service' section (bloody fun Finding that I can tell you) I then did the delete in program files and it WENT !!!
I did a search and it says nothing there and then a restart and the NOD startup notice didnt appear.
Fingers crossed when I start the laptop again it is all GONDED for GOOD.
    Thanks all.
