    The speed camera data that came with this version of the Sensis map will not work without a special license which has so far not surfaced. If you want some comprehensive speedcam files, see my post towards the bottom for details.

    thanks Ian.

    Have downloaded and will sort through and mod my ini file accordingly. I assume all the audio is already incorporated in Primo 1.2 for these alerts.

    Yes, once you mod your iGO9.ini file the warnings for each type will be read out using any of the TTS voices. I don't know about non TTS voices but I doubt it somehow.

    Ian,

    I have added the txt files and assume the .spdb file was created as I can see the cameras. Excellent work.

    However, no audio warnings. I have modified my ini file with the data in the zip folder but cannot get audio warnings. I am using Lee (australian) TTS voice and have setup both audio and visual warnings on approaching.

    Any suggestions?

    Did you do an actual drive by a camera position or did you try a simulated route? I'm not sure if the warnings will work in simulation.

    As an afterthought, you may need the following in sys.txt

    [warning]
    speedcam_enabled=1
    speedcam_warning=1

    Don't speed and its no problem.

    Remember even the best GPS files and maps are old as soon as they are released.

    Then there are the always moving ones and hwy police

    Comp_Dad is correct.

    The gps was excellent for the drive from Mel in and around Canberra and Sydney. Speeds were out, camera warnings were plenty but stick to the speed limit and all is well.

    Amazing how many morons still fly past you though !!
