    OK it looks like nothing else has the port. Try commenting out the detect line in oscam.server

    #Detect = CD

    ok i removed the following from my oscam.server

    ident =096c:000000

    and this seems to have now given me pictures.

    I now need to set up cccam to work with oscam. I serve to 2 boxes over the internet and connect to 1 box also over the internet via cccam. Do i set this all up in oscam or do i somehow connect my cccam config file to oscam and go from there?

    as a side note when i go to the readers menu in oscam webif i dont get any emm data showing up. They are all 0 / 0 / 0 / 0

    is this a problem?

    ps also in the softcam menu when i click on cardinfo it still shows no card inserted. I also use to get a green ND label on the osd to show that the channel was decrypted it now stays red but i still get pictures. Not sure if this matters or not.

    Just as a side question, the internal reader is /dev/sci0?

    Don't know about connecting with CCcam in native mode. There used to be issues with this. Also, I would recommend commenting out the dvbapi section in oscam.conf and adding a newcamd section - eg:

    [newcamd]
    port = 15000@096C:000000
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    allowed = 127.0.0.1, 192.168.1.1-192.168.1.254
    keepalive = 0
    mgclient = 0

    and run mgcamd as your local cam with oscam only acting as a server. In my experience, this is the best setup in terms of performance & stability - YMMV.

    You will then need a separate user account for each box in oscam.user - leave out the AU line for all the remote clients to stop receiving their EMMs. Your remote boxes only need a single N line to connect.

    Or else you can continue running CCcam on your DM to serve the remote clients. I would still use the newcamd section in oscam.conf, and just add an N line to your local CCcam.cfg. If you do this, setup oscam as the cardserver and CCcam as the softcam to make sure that oscam gets started first.

    I have added the following in my oscam.server to connect to the cccam server i use to connect to via ccam.cfg

    [reader]
    label = cccamserver
    protocol = cccam
    device = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx,12000
    account = username,password
    group = 1
    caid = 090b

    And i can now see it connected in my oscam status on webif. However i still do not get any pictures. I get them for my internal reader but not this connection.

    I also get a vailid CAID:SRVID.

    Any ideas?

    thanks.

    I think you are getting things back-to-front. You need to setup your CCcam server as a user in oscam. As I said before, the easiest connection is to add [newcamd] to oscam.conf, & use an N line in your CCcam server to connect. eg.

    Assume oscam running in host 10.0.0.1 serving to CCcam in 10.1.1.254

    In oscam.conf
    [newcamd]
    port = 15000@096C:000000
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    allowed = 127.0.0.1, 10.1.1.254
    keepalive = 0
    mgclient = 0

    In oscam.user
    [account]
    User = dummy
    Pwd = dummy
    monlevel = 1
    Uniq = 0
    Group = 1
    CAID = 0906c

    In CCcam.cfg on 10.1.1.254
    N: 10.0.0.1 15000 dummy dummy 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    ok now if i do this do i also need to be running cccam as a softcam or do i run newcamd?

    maybe im not making it clear as to my setup. Ill try again.

    I have foxtel orange card and want to read my entitlements off the internal reader. This is working fine.

    I want to share my entitlements to another user over internet.

    I also want to share another users entitlements over the internet.

    So previously i had a couple F lines and a C line in my cccam.cfg file.

    Since changing to oscam i can read my cards entitlements and get pics no problems. I cant seem to share or connect over the internet. My webif status does however show that both connections are ok ie clients and proxie but neither i can get any extra entitlements nor can they get my entitlements.

    hope this makes sense.

    ps i should point out that i want oscam to act as server and as a client if this can be done.

    I found the post below and it is exactly what i want to be able to do. I have followed it and all appears to be connected as it should. Only problem is no pics. What else needs to happen for pics to work?
    -----------------------------------------------
    Solution above is one of the options.
    Oscam can act as cccam client and server. Other solution allows you to use C line. In this case each C line need to be added as [reader] in oscam.server (we're the client).
    Here is an example.

    You get C line C: 192.168.0.5 45678 user4 password4
    [reader]
    label = remote4
    protocol = cccam
    device = 192.168.0.5,45678
    user = user4
    password = password4
    group = 4
    caid = 0400
    cccversion = 1.2.34
    cccbuild = 5678

    There are many more options that can be set up with such virtual reader (like max hops, etc), all can be found on oscam wiki pages.

    If you wish to run oscam as cccam server, just add your config to oscam.conf like here
    [cccam]
    port = 40000
    version = 1.2.3
    build = 1234
    reshare = 2

    You need to add user entries in oscam.user for your clients. And you can send them C line that connects to your oscam/cccam server
    [account]
    user = user2
    pwd = password2
    monlevel = 1
    uniq = 0
    group = 2
    au = reader2
    services = services2
    ident = 0200:000000
    caid = 0200
    --------------------------------------------------

    Well if you know what needs to be done to get it to work any help or guide would be useful. Even if you can just point me in the right direction.

    ps i have a paid service for which i pay fully.

    OK now I understand. Change the group number in oscam.server for your CCcam reader. You may also need

    cccmaxhops = hops
    define CCcam maximum SC distance hops, default:10

    -1 = disabled
    0 = remote local SCs only
    1 = remote local SCs and + 1 hop
    2 = remote local SCs and + 2 hops
    and so on

    oscam can act as both server & client (that's what the vdbapi section does). You need separate username/password for each client (ie separate account) or else a

    numusers = quantity
    anti-cascading: user per account, 0 = anti-cascading disabled, default:0

    Also, if you are going to use a services line in your accounts, you will need an oscam.services file (best to just delete that line).

    Until you get the basics working properly, I would just keep CCcam in your server, comment out the C lines, add N line, add a [newcamd] section to oscam & comment out the [dvbapi] section. Then tackle one part at a time.

    I've tried to start my oscam, I put in telnet:

    root@dm500 ~ # chmod 755 /var/bin/oscam
    root@dm500 ~ # /var/bin/oscam -b

    This just goes to a new line. Then I try accessing the webif by entering my Dreambox's ip.

    eg.

    Comes up with
    403 Forbidden
    Access denied.

    Any ideas how to check if it is actually working or not?
