    The problem also is that there is a bug that prevents the card updating with dvbapi enabled so best just leave it disabled.

    Next you need to get all your configs correct.

    oscam.conf

    [newcamd]
    port = 34000@0604:000000 ( yes all zero's )
    He says he is trying to use CCcam as a client in native mode - not mgcamd. You have ignored that. Also I dispute your assertion that dvbapi can't update the card. I only changed to mgcamd as a client because dvbapi was too resource intensive = it never had update issues.

    We need to know what his setup looks like (client names, card location & current configs, boxes, etc). It looks like he has changed things a number of times, & we don't know what they look like now or what he is really trying to do.

    He said he tried using CCcam in native after getting no where with newcamd mode because he is still trying to get it working with the wrong configs , So I didn't ignore that.

    You can dispute my assertion even though it's actual fact that dvbapi will not update caid 0604 , dispute it all you like but after the current PK's expire it will stop decoding.

    dvbapi uses almost no resources at all but will completely bog down if you are trying to run another client at the same time on the same box., actually if you try to run another client while in dvbapi mode and watch it via a telnet session you will see either one or both of them lock up shortly after.

    Now
    2011/04/22 9:56:07 2B2FF500 c localuser (0604&000000/1B62/44:71D7): rejected user ident (1 ms) (of 0 avail 0)

    0604&000000 , This shows dvbapi mode is running

    rejected user ident , This shows the user Ident does match the reader Ident .

    OK,
    Here is what I have and what I have done.

    First, I managed to get DVBAPI working on my DM500. But mgcamd is easier to get going, so I am using that at the moment as my client on the box running oscam.

    I use CCCam on the ONLY other client.

    So I have two clients effectively.

    Apparently, according to oscam, I have a ACS V6.07 card. I thought I had a 4.1, but anyway.

    Sounds like what I am trying to do is impossible, but I guess there is no harm in trying.

    These are my configs, minus my details.

    # oscam.conf

    [global]
    serverip = 10.0.0.XX
    logfile = /tmp/oscam.log
    disablelog = 1
    disableuserfile = 1
    fallbacktimeout = 1500
    bindwait = 30
    maxlogsize = 0
    preferlocalcards = 1
    saveinithistory = 1
    readerrestartseconds = 30
    lb_mode = 3
    lb_save = 300

    [monitor]
    port = 988
    nocrypt = 127.0.0.1
    aulow = 30
    hideclient_to = 20
    monlevel = 4
    appendchaninfo = 1

    [newcamd]
    port = 15000@0604:XXXXXX ---- My Ident here
    serverip = 10.0.0.XX
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    allowed = 127.0.0.1,10.0.0.XXX,10.0.0.XX
    keepalive = 1
    mgclient = 1

    [cccam]
    port = 4444
    reshare = 1
    ignorereshare = 0
    version = 2.2.1
    updateinterval = 240
    minimizecards = 0
    keepconnected = 1

    [webif]
    httpport = 8888
    httpuser = webif
    httppwd = webif
    httprefresh = 0
    httpallowed = 0.0.0.0-255.255.255.255
    httphideidleclients = 1
    httpreadonly = 0
    httpsavefullcfg = 0

    # oscam.server
    [reader]
    label = austar
    enable = 1
    protocol = internal
    device = /dev/sci0
    services =
    caid = 0604
    tk0 = XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    tk1 = XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    rsakey = MY CAM DATA
    boxkey = MY CAM KEY
    detect = cd
    mhz = 600
    cardmhz = 600
    ident = 0604:XXXXXX
    group = 1
    emmcache = 1,1,2
    blockemm-u = 1
    blockemm-s = 1
    blockemm-g = 1
    lb_weight = 100
    auprovid = XXXXXX

    # oscam.user

    [account]
    user = lounge
    pwd = lounge
    group = 1
    monlevel = 4
    au = austar
    caid = 0604
    ident = 0604:XXXXXX --- my ident
    cccmaxhops = 0
    numusers = 0

    [account]
    user = monitor
    pwd = monitor
    monlevel = 2
    numusers = 2

    [account]
    user = bedroom
    pwd = bedroom
    group = 1
    monlevel = 4
    caid = 0604
    ident = 0604:XXXXXX ---my ident
    cccmaxhops = 0
    cccreshare = 0
    numusers = 0

    Now, this works, for roughly between 10-15mins. Then I get this in my oscam log:

    2011/04/24 2022 31058B50 r channel de-tweaked by key0
    2011/04/24 2022 331FFB50 c lounge (0604&XXXXXX/07D7/44:7B31): found (196 ms) by austar (of 1 avail 1) - 0604:07D7 unknown

    2011/04/24 2025 31858B50 c bedroom (0604&XXXXX/138C/44:2BB8): not found (127 ms) (of 1 avail 1) - 0604:138C unknown (irdeto_do_cmd [2] 90 00)
    2011/04/24 2033 331FFB50 c lounge (0604&XXXXX/07D7/44:1358): not found (162 ms) (of 1 avail 1) - 0604:07D7 unknown (irdeto_do_cmd [8] a0 00)
    2011/04/24 2033 331FFB50 c lounge (0604&XXXXX/07D7/44:C934): not found (128 ms) (of 1 avail 1) - 0604:07D7 unknown (irdeto_do_cmd [2] 90 00)
    2011/04/24 2033 331FFB50 c lounge (0604&XXXXX/07D7/44:50B8): not found (127 ms) (of 1 avail 1) - 0604:07D7 unknown (irdeto_do_cmd [2] 90 00)

    Now I'm guessing from another thread that (irdeto_do_cmd [2] 90 00) means that the card is in "lock" mode now. Indicating that it can see more than two chid's being accessed at the same time. I could prove this by putting both boxes on the same channel.

    I can see this also in my reader, where as each channel is detweaked, the CHID in my readers changes.

    The only thing I can think of, is trying to reshare my card, but not through oscam. Is it possible to use the reshare function of CCCam? I'm hoping that my reader will only see one client connected, but there will actually be two. Sort of a reshare from a server to another server if that makes sense? I'm running out of ideas.

    EDIT: ONLY OTHER OPTION IS TO RESET THE CARD EVERY 10MINS to stop surf lock.

    Thanks to everyones help by the way.

    It appears that oscam reports the version incorrectly - yours is probably a 4.1. Also, the consensus on another forum is that you should be able to have 3 or less shares. It may be worth checking for assistance there - hint: search +"surf lock" +austar

    dvvapi with au=1 hits the card with all EMMs, which slows down the card response leading to pixellation & drops on the clients. If you restrict it with au=[single provider], it chews up resources on the box - at least it did with the last version I tried it on (early this year), until it would eventually crash, usually within a couple of days. Since I changed to mgcamd it has been virtually rock solid and the clients never miss a beat.

    Of course the card will get hammered with Global EMM's , these need to be blocked or you will see all the problems you report
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    blockemm-g = 1

    But the main problem is that dvbapi will not pass Unique or Shared EMM's which are needed to keep the card updated .
    but as I said earlier dvbapi wont keep working regardless of what you do , so running mgcamd or cccam is the only way for the correct emm's to get to the card.

    OK here are your configs , note the changes and forget your Provid !! , also you had all updates blocked so there is no chance of it continuing to work

    OK Joey,
    That config works, but still getting my problem.

    New update:

    IRServer V2.7. With AU unticked for both users, 20mins later. Still working. However, I might miss an update. EDIT: Nope, just gone down.
