how do i remove Dcads

hi,

i keep getting add popups by Dcads

I cant stop them and its annoying me heaps.

Does anyone have any software that will kill it off my system?

I have a few virus software programs but none can get rid of this

try add remove programs 1st
if not,
run\regedit\hcly local machine\software\microsoft\windows\current view\run
delete the reg key to it.
this stops it starting, then remove included files

Hi, i tried but i cant even find it? None of my virus programs find it either. and yet i still get pop-ups from it grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ....

edit: actually not certain if it will work, didn't realise it was just another spyware remover, it will probably ask for payment and not be able to remove it anyway.

If you want to try spyware doctor try this version... read any nfo files etc first in the zip..

Have you tried a System restore to before your got the DCADS

My only suggestion is to check what processes are running, search with google for what they are and stop them if they are malware then search for them on your HD and delete them and search in your registry and delete them, basically what Phil said above.

PS stop downloading crap with Limewire!

yeah only noticed what it was when I dl'ed it... so have put up an alternate solution.
