mame disc for xbox original wtd :)

Hi,

Ive been told I need to find MAME for X-box original.

I had a disc years ago for my young son but its since got scratched and no longer works He is devestated lol

Can someone help me with a replacement please ?

I`ll take it that your unit has been modded. Why not download Mame and the game roms that you want and ftp from your pc to xbox and dump them to the xbox. You wont have to worry about getting scratched disks again.

hi , yes it has a modchip. Prob is my son and I use to sit for hours going through the disc picking out games from the list of hundreds that was on there, I really couldnt remember all the titles.

There were a few favorites but ive never messed with ROMS or even ftp'd anything to xbox, i dont know how

Im not as computer literate as i was years ago.

But i do see the logic in your suggestion

Too late now but there was an old compiliation called "big ass emulator" with a few volumes and other emu's too. Not sure if it's still around but worth a look.

Hi there Im just wondering if there is a certain mame emu you need for the xbox or not. I have mame and heaps of roms not sure if its the correct ones though. Where abouts do you ftp them on the xbox.

You can pick up xmame and other mame emulators from the xbins server and find the roms on various sites on the net. I found a DVD a year or 2 ago with xmame and heaps of roms on it all set up ready to boot. It is now the most played thing on the xbox thanks to the X-Arcade stick
