copy a protected gold card

Badass there is definatley protected cards, its done with the fuse option

White card then 99.9% Gamma card, no one has made it public if it can be copied, as far as we know it cant be done only by the sellers who sold the card and most sellers are known as re-sellers they dont make the card just sell it

I know about fuse and have been able to always get round that but after talking via PM's think he is talking about Gamma or the other one that is around.

Might be a good idea to start a gamma card thread if there isn't one all ready so we can all keep up to date with the latest findings on these cards..

1: get a blank gold card
2: program it with
a:GFGold v2.2.6 Dual No Updating Coco.hex
b:GFGold v226 eeprom.hex

3: get a coppy of ggedit
4: put the working gold card in
5: select read
6: select save
7: dont close it and now put in the one you just made
8: select read
9: select load and load the file you just saved
10: select write

I've been following the above steps with my infinity unlimited programmer (set to virtual com port mode) and I get an error message at step 5 that says "Data corrupted or interupted" with both the fresh card and the original working card.

Any suggestions?


edit: when simply trying to clone the card with Inf unltd. I get the same error message as the OP, - card is codeprotected and can not be cloned.

emoo, is the card working ? if so what service ie: aurora(gwn etc or austar, ubi etc)

if it is a gold card with irdeto1 details working on aurora, then the necessary info can be read from it if it is programmed with ghost gold. this info can then be programmed onto a new card . if it is programmed with v17, beamer etc. then it is a lot more difficult......

if it is a white card working on austar, ubi etc. forget it.....

It's Aurora, the working card was purchased ages ago pre programmed so I have no idea what was used to program it, the 'spare cards' I am trying to copy the info to are old goldies that no longer work (pictures).

I just got this infinity unlimited USB programmer to have a play around with the goldies to start with, trying to learn with a technology that is well known, it will be a week or so before I have hacked gamma and shared the details with you all (lol, yeah right)

ggedit or lmedit will read the details from the card if it is programmed with ghost gold.

you need to put your programmer in phoenix mode and connect using the correct serial port in lmedit or ggedit.

then you can save the details and program them onto a new card, once you have loaded it with the ghost gold hex files.

Problem being that the infinity unlimited does not have a serial attachment, only usb but emulates serial by selecting the 'Virtual Com Port' setting.

I have the original infinity and it is no longer supported, however you may get some joy if you can use the Phoenix mode.
Perhaps others can help you there.
The progs I gave are more relevant and easier to use with a heap more documentation.
