Not true!..... although it does not run full screen.. I guess it is still 480x800.

    iGo8.4.2 for Android

You will also need the data for your area (map.poi, buildings)

not sure if it's suitable for what you want but have you looked at the Samsung Galaxy TAB, for the same price I think it's worth checking out

There is also a program available from Market (free) that appears to have tracks, waypoints, compass and maps and stuff for off road use...GPS Essentials

Ita a case of different horses for different courses!!

I like iGo Primo v1.2 on WinCE and on Android I like copilot and Sygic mobile10, both 'tomtom' like....I have just downloaded Sygic Aura for Android and it looks very very nice also....makes good use of a large display...

    I don't go off-road so I don't know about that genre....

yer i got one, had it afew weeks a broke down, i manage to pull it apart to find the grey cable from the screen was not pluged in correctly, so i fixed that and thought i would up the memory from 4gb to 8gb but the 4gb card only read 143mb on my computer?, so i had to leave it at 4gb, it works good when it works, but im finding it hard to find games the kids love, most games are small screen and not full screen, i did get igo and ozi working also small screens but does not have many functions in either programs..

i have ozi on my eee tab transformer, excellent to use even though it is still in beta, it is not often i pay to be a beta tester it will run any map big ozi will as long as they convert to ozf format.
copilot live is groovy for turn for turn, ozi is the guts out in the bush although with ubd's on ozi, without tbt navigating is still quiet easy.
