    Default UltraUSB

    Does anyone know what power level the Freenet Antenna's UltraUSB wireless USB stick is? Also how does it perform?

    I have one, don't quote me, but think its 60mW

    Performance…………?! Very subjective topic. I have a Toshiba Tecra A7, sometimes (most times) using netstumbling as a means of comparing signal strength, the Tecra performs better then the UltraUSB with its 2dB antenna. But connect anything greater then a 2dB antenna, then it out performs the Tecra

    From the Spec Sheet:

    17 dBm (+/2 dBm)

    So that makes it 50 mW. When traveling I use mine with an Amp which means free Internet just about out if every hotel window I have found!

    Also, when I installed a pair of UltraUSBs in a pair of 17 dBi Intennas, got a good 18.5 km link.
