Well after trying everything I could think of, it turned out to be the BF unit not liking my 9v 150 mA power supply I could swear that when I plugged it in it said 450 mA. Someone must have swapped power supplies with me.

Is the link light on the BF430 supposed to stay on constantly. The reason I ask is that I have one that I bought recently (bad timing) and I can connect to it for a minute or two and then it doesn't respond anymore and the link light flashes on and off. What am I doing wrong?
I have a good understanding of networking
Cheers

i use 12 volt units with mine when needing an external supply otherwise if being used with a humax i pick up the power from the power supply internally saves the need for an external one(not that i am using any anymore)
A firmware upgrade to allow it to connect to newcs would fix that.. Not that I have one
My last post was over that comment.Originally posted by fandtm666

thanks fandtm666
I was just playing with it to see if it worked or not. I am probably going to use it for a console login for a server.
Why do you need the Good/Fake EMM response, what is it about the BF tha requires it?
Note: I don't have pictures just playing with what was.
cheers
