Default How to add the map to TT One

    Hi guys,

Can anyone please tell me how to go about adding this map to my TT One? I am running the following on my TT:

    App 7.903
    OS:2344
    Boot 5.5136
    Map: Aus_845.2662

I also use TT Home ver. 2.7.5.2014. I haven't updated to the later version since that messes up with the map I have.

Any guidance will be much appreciated. Cheers.

You'll have to update your 7.903 Navcore too 8.2 or above to use this map

I'm using , I don't know what version of TomTom you have but this navcore seams to run very well on most tomtoms.

What tomtom have you got ?

    Hi mate,

I have a TT One which is one of the early models that came out in 2005-2006 (). Could you direct me to a doc on how to update the navcore and where to get the new navcore? I understand that I may need certain tools to patch the files. Also will this work with the latest update of TT Home? Thanks for your help. Cheers.

If you follow the link highlighted in your reply you should find all the info you require. Navcore 8.562 SE. This navcore works very well with all the ones. I have a TTone as well.

    Guys

You have 10,000 gig of HOTLINKED BANDWIDTH if you upload files via the MEGAUPLOAD FILEBOX ON AUSTECH

Upload it via Austech and everyone can download it at full speed with no restrictions rather than ridiculously slow speeds.

I have the older SD card version too

    1. Get a new SD card for your TomTom, you only need a small one 512meg is plenty.
(then you can keep your original for a backup)

    2. Download this

    3. Unrar the Navcore and copy it to the root of the New SD Card.

    4. Download

    5. Unrar the Australia Map and copy the map folder to the root of the new SD card.

    6. Download

    7. Unrar the Safety Cameras and copy the files "Safety_Cam_AU_TomTom" & "Safety_Cam_AU_TomTomOv2" into the map folder on your New SD Card.

    8. Download

    9. unrar\unzip FastActivate and copy the FastActivate file to the root of your New SD Card.

    10. Connect your TomTom to your Computer with the USB cable.
When it asks if you want to connect the computer select "YES"

    11. Go to My Computer and open the tomtom drive so you can see all the files.

Then run "FastActivate" and select each button from left to right when finished restart the tomtom and thats it should be 100% working

Hi, Just downloaded the Australia map and as you descibe above it worked 100%. However I am in New Zealand and it didn't patch the NZ map I also had on the Sd Card. Been having trouble all day so thought I would try the Australian map as a test.
Can you advise why the NZ one won't activate? It is showing up in Tom Tom Home as 'not activated' and cannot be used.
Tom Tom one New edition is the unit. Have installed the three NZ maps available..870.3402. 870.3403. 870.3413. and none of them will activate.
    Thanks

I have tried several, that worked ok with the 865 maps. 8.410 and 8.412 to name a couple. Someone said the meta text hasn't been released as yet for NZ...is that possible?

Thanks for that....all maps now working. Strange though...Tom Tom Home can still only see the 865 map not any of the 870 ones (I put the three new ones on the SD Card and can change from one to the other)
Have 'patched' tom tom home (well I think I have with fast activate)
Should I remove 865 map and see what happens?

As a general rule TT Home will only see 1 version of the same map. So Yes. COPY the old map to an external source EG PC.

Please remember there are only three rules with Technology. BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP.

    Cheers
