Fausto problem

Hi everybody.
I need a Fausto Guru to get my server work.
I have a IRD 2 card activated that works perfectlly in my decoder (its for a south america provider in sat 15w).

I buy a TE21 phoenix card reader/programmer, and I tried to configure fausto to work with my card and mount a internal server throught my computer.

First of all, I configure the file cards.ini in which I write FilterECM=0, and after that I configure the server with a port, a couple of users, and everything is good, then start the server and connect the smart card in Fausto.

When I try to view one of the channels that the card supports, it don't work, I activate the server logs in fausto (ECM and EMM) and I see that the decoder request are good, and fausto is sending it to the card, and the most strange of all, it saids CW DECRYPTED, and sends a "valid decrypted" CW to the decoder, but the decoder stills not decoding the channel.

Is there some chance that because of a configuration in fausto the card is decoding bad the ECM and then giving bad CW?

The provider, as I said before, is Telstar 12 15w Tdh UY south america.

I dont thing Fausto will be your answer it doesnt seem to update properly. Try oscam.

I tried OSCAM for windows, and after all configuration when oscam starts it saids:

ATR: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Error: Could not read reader->convention
Error: Could not activate card

The oscam.server file is:

[reader]
label = TELSTAR12
detect = cd
protocol = mouse
device = /dev/ttyS1
group = 1
caid = 0650

Anybody can help me??

Hello.

I change the XTAL to a 6MHz unit and now Oscam initializes my card, but when I connect a stb to the newcamd server, it saids that Channel is not in the card... but it is in the card, now I think the problem is that the card perhaps have a CAMKEY / CAMKEY DATA and that's the problem.

Does anybody here knows how to get the CAMKEY / CAMKEY DATA from a Irdeto 5.3 acs 0606 card?

Hi everybody.

I try to use all software (oscam, IRServer, etc, etc) and nothing works.
Some people has the same card like me and they use Fausto in great form, could somebody please help me?

Could it be my card reader is not compatible?
