Post iGo Primo 1.2 with working TTS

This is iGo Primo 1.2 with working TTS uploaded for your view pleasure. Get it fast as most links seem to disappear fast! Please let me know if the link goes down. This is not my work, but rather I compiled several others downloads to make this version... Works great on my "China special" running wince 6.0 with a 5" screen.

    The file is password protected,
    password: 'primo'

    link:

    Cheers,
    Flyboy

    Directions:
This is a working copy directly from my cheap china special GPS running wince 6.0
I have downloaded piles of junk that didn't seem to work, and mixed and matched till
i have this working copy. As a result you will find lots of redundant items in here
that I did not need, feel free to clean them out, but since I have a 16 Gig SD card... I don't really care

    Directions:
    1. To reduce the size of this download I gutted the content folder, which would only be useful to you if you lived in Australia. So get onto google and add the relevant items for your area. You will need
    a) maps
    b) poi
    c) speedcam
    d) buildings
    2. copy ENTIRE 'Primo' folder to your SD cards root directory.
    3. Go to 'Voice Language' (from map screen, click Menu - More... - Settings - Sound and Warnings - Voice Language) Select Susan (TTS) v1.84.69 (Mag 2.69). This is the best voice I could get working on mine. Your machine might manage Kate(TTS) v3.3, but mine would crap out. If Susan dose not work, try one of the lower versions.
    4. Edit the sys.txt file, Its fun to make custom voice warnings... I also included a 'Master List of possible commands.sys.txt' this is just a file I add commands that might be useful that I come across from the internet. Some might be useless... I suggest you backup your sys.txt file, make a few changes, try it out... and then repeat until you have a perfect gps. don't do all changes at once or you will not know what screwed up.
    5. Sit back and enjoy... If you like the program make sure you throw money in the programmers direction at some time so they keep making such wonderful products.
    6. If these directions do not work for you, please take note of what you did differently and post your solution here so others may benefit from your insights.

    NOTE:
If this post is of help to you, please click on the thanks button or instead of posting a reply just to say thanks, that way we can keep the thread for active links and other topic relevant stuff. If you must quote from this post, please edit it to only the one or two lines that are relevant, as full quotes will spam the thread fast. ~Thanks

    Default Password now OK

    Flyboy

Thanks for the new download. Tested TTS via Demo OK on WinCE 5.0. One thing you should have removed is your history. It started in your last location and has a bunch of favourites.

    Well Done!!!!

    Hey mate,

Thanks for the link but it says 'incorrect password' on extracting. Could you please double check the password?

Hope this one works fine on my 7' wince 6.0 with 128MB RAM unit and not have issue of "Out of Memory" as it did with Igo Primo 1.2 version posted on different thread.

    Can't wait now.

    Cheers

New link updated in first post.

bravo_81 please edit and delete the old link from your first post as you quoted my whole post which is now outdated info (feel free to use the reply button not just the quote button .

You might have resolution issues, as I have posted my working copy which I have tweaked for my 5" Win CE 6.0. I'm sure it would just require snagging a few relevant files from other copies.

    To Flyboy,

    Hey mate,

Sorry but it won't let me edit or delete anything from my 1st post, somehow there's no edit button to my 1st post. If you can tell me how to, am more than happy to delete that link.

    Cheers

Qky I have no idea if it will run on wm 6.5, I do know that it comes straight off my WinCE 6.0 and runs great (just add in local maps and stuff as listed in directions). Please have a go at it and let us know if it works for you, and make note of any 'tweaks' you did if necessary so others can benefit from your hard work.

springer did you follow the link in the very first post of this thread? if you did the password is 'primo'. If you followed the link from the quoted bit in bravo_8's post... good luck. Please let me know if that solves your problem.
