    Default Nintendo Wii chip????

    Hi Guys

    I have a RVL-001 (AUS) LAH 100XXXXX Wii and it requires a chip - which chip is the better and why?

    I would use a wasabi or a WiiKey for that model. The difference is only 1 wire in the install but the Wasabi is the more powerful chip and theoretically will outlast the WiiKey due to its extra flash storage. Also the Wasabi could be taken out of that unit and refitted into a new unit, the WiiKey cannot. However that said, both chips do exactly the same thing, so it will come down to whether you want to spend the extra money on the Wasabi chip.
