    Here is an updated list of the models using navcore v10/v11/v12 which cannot be cracked:

    Default TomTom 4.3" Portable Navigation XL CLASSIC

    Hello guys

    I have just purchased a TomTom 4.3" Portable Navigation XL CLASSIC which is listed as a XL250 .
    As a new unit will it still be on the "good" list
    Tomtom XL, Navcore 9.510, Bootloader 5.5282 ,Map :Australia 920.5241, 64MB Ram(free:23.8 MB)
    Tomtom Start 10, Navcore 9.510, Bootloader 5.5274 ,Map :Australia 915.5074, 64MB Ram(free:30.8 MB)

    Not really....
    Good would be GO 720, GO730, GO520, GO530... -You get the pic...
    XL are known to be problematic when it comes to using newer Navcore and if not installed the right way computervoices stay silent.
    Plus they have pretty slow CPU's...
    Still better than a new model TT

    Thanks Downunder cheers, Still better than a new model TT and better than my old Start 10 I'm guessing too?

    I don't pick it up till tomorrow so I can't say much about it..

    The XL is viewable in Windows and has a lot more features than the old Start 10 lol but it's menu is now like the Starts...Can It be changed to look like the other TomTom on the left in the pic?
