Until NDS start doing it to the overseas markets, a fix probably isnt likely. There is a big difference between doing it to a few thousand people in Australia and doing it to a few million elsewhere.

To anyone that was card sharing , simply subscribe and get a couple of extra boxes under Multiroom @$15-$20 a month each. Split the bill with your friends and you will have the full Platinum package for around $50-$55 a month...half price.

the thing is... most of us have a subscription... and hate the foxtel boxes.. i wonder if they will have a subscription increase after these changes... seems to me that all of us are paying for Foxtel and all they did is make us use the provider box... not sure cs is such a big thing in Australia..and not many people will be affected from that point of view.

I dunno about that....I have noticed quite a few new members of late wanting to know why their foxtel doesnt work. Which they bought off a guy for X amount of dollars with a DM500.

    Never underestimate profiteering in Australia

The word on the street around here is that the best friends daughters boyfriend is hooking you up in 6 or 12 month subs for about the same price as an extra box per month. Oh but you need an Internet connection... Go figure...

Any ideas how people? Aust* or something I suppose.
Poxtel is basically pushing a lot of people from grey area card sharing to black market at a considerable saving to the subscriber*

With broadband Internet these days a few tb hdd with everything one could ever want on demand is a better option in my opinion anyways. Only downside is live sport...
