Solutions are posted by PMs now. The alternative is to give to all, but in reality to give to none.

sorry but thats just a total load of rubbish. do you think that the service providers would not manage to some where down the line to infiltrate this so called exclusive club get their hands on a copy of the fabled fixes ?.

There's no exclusive club to my knowledge. I don't expect to hear from anyone. But to think that nothing is happening is delusional.

I believe the latest Counter measures activated 11/11/11 have already been worked around and it's business as normal for the select group in the know who have vested business interests.

The solution is being kept very quiet so not to create possible further counter measures to be implemented by the service provider and to make them believe they have had the final say on the use of 3rd Party STBs.

If a solution does become available in the public domain - it will be short lived as the provider will now have a number of different methods of zapping any 3rd party software work arounds without affecting their own STBs.

For some reason some here think the providers monitor this site 24 hours a day and take every single thing said as gospel. They also think that all the providers encryption decisions are based entirely on what Austech users are up to. Apparently we are the be all and end all of the satellite world

    Personally, I find it hilarious.

Especially when the so called "secret" smaller forums out there post it all out in the open.....obviously they think providers dont read them Its funny watching a member on here bitching that he has had to packup his third party receiver because he cant use it because of the changes......the same day he is boasting on another site he is using a pirate card in it Farkin funny

I believe something has changed, perhaps its not worth "having the blues" these days and having "another color". Or so I hear....I dont know, I dont have enough interest to find out first hand.

But I would think most people would have simply cancelled their subscriptions and bought a pirate card of some kind....there is at least a couple of different types out there and they are becoming more prevalent by the day.

    Another piece of the puzzle?

The person I reported on earlier when the blueys went out had issues with his UEC box - EPG apparently was a mess after the firmware "upgrade". Anyhow, he finally was pissed off enough to demand a new box. The poxtel tech came out and put a Pace box in in place of the UEC, switched the bluey over & then had to go out to his truck to activate the box before he could watch it.

Interesting but not much use without:
    1. Knowing if fox are using either of these overcrypt algorithms in gbox.net
    2. What the key is.

What do you know about this Vic?

Hmm, I think I agree: something seems to have also changed on the Blueys themselves. I tried my bluey in another F*xbox just now, only to receive the error message on screen: This is not the smartcard for this receiver.
Either the Pace boxes are now wedded to the cards, or both the cards and boxes are wedded just like the IQ boxes.
