OSIRUS (20-09-11)
I'm now eligible to reregister for VAST traveller access, have searched everywhere for the extension form.
Found this printable form for post or fax at
Anyone else in the same boat?
Have you found the form?
If I get time I'll call Mysattv & ask where the online form is located.
In my search I found another reactivation link similar to the one on MyVast.com for those that need it
Cheers, Tiny

I'm in the same boat. It was suggested to just use the original online app. I have to do something soon or it will run out.
I think that this is what you are referring to and it was not particularly difficult to locate.
Once completed, click on the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the form.
Your right Rodnic that link is the original application form.
Which states down the bottom (The extension form is available on the mysattv.com.au website or phone 1300 993 376)
So I'll ring the number & see if it can be used.
BTW Tristen we did know about that form, it's the extension form they refer to that is a mystery

OK so I rang the number, selected 1 the only option.
Which then gave me the directions to the MYSATTV website to register a standard service or option 2 or hold for a customer service rep.
Yep I held, silly me.
Obligatory message " We Are currently experiencing a high number of calls, please be patient & someone will talk to you shortly" or something like that, you think I wouldn't forget it after hearing it for 20 minutes.
Then it rang & told me to enter the extension of the person I wanted to talk to or press 9 for a directory of extensions?
What the hell, I was on there that long I'll play their silly game & pressed 9 where it told me to enter the persons name I wanted to talk to. WTF
Or hold on to leave a message on the after hours service??
So I hung up.
Calmed down & rang the place where I purchased my decoder from, they specialise in camper satellite gear, so I figure maybe they know something, question was too hard straight up, so I'm waiting for a call back from them when they find someone that knows, which they assured me will be shortly.
I'll let you know how that turns out.

Still no return of call from Decoder supplier.
Had a thought though. If there actually is no extension form as it appears, then we could just use the original Travellers access form . & state that our "intention is to extend our temporary certificate & our reason why" in the panel on the form where it says extra information. It's just below where you enter your Smart card number.
We could even add "please contact me if this is not the appropriate form" then it will either work or they contact us.
Having said that, I'm a little sceptical though about whether they would contact us, as I never got any confirmation email or any other contact when I registered in Dec.
I need to renew by 28th June, what about you Rodnic?

I had to help my neighbour with his gear, as he was going caravaning, and had not used his Aurora card for a while...I know it's not VAST...There was a similar thing to explain where you were going, and an itinerary. We did all that, he emailed it off to 7central, and piccies that day/or next when he checked again. I guess they have maybe rehashed that form to suit VAST?
So it looks like the original form is the best option unless you want or post or fax the Vansat form in my 1st post or try your luck on the phone. (their phone system did the job on me, I won't be calling them again)
Either way your only providing them with the necessary info to continue your service.
You also have the opportunity to change your primary area of travel for reception bouquet.
At least you don't have to provide an itinerary like on the Aurora forms.

I will submit the form today (won't be processed til Mon).
I got this from a fellow Caravaners Forum member who has both the North and South Eastern States bouquets and when asked how said,
"I just filled out the online form saying we were travelling to the Eastern states.
But there is a way as my mate, bought a set up from Access Antennas in Perth and they "pre activated" it for him, and said it would never need re activating ! remains to be proven, as he has only had it for 6 weeks.
He also gets both bouquets."
I asked in the extra information box for both bouquets.

That's interesting that they allow the traveller's 2 bouquets, depending on their travel.
Something a little to save the traveller some time, as well as finding reception at times, to actually make the call to them.
Good stuff.
I submitted the travellers application form yesterday (4 Jun) at about 1400 EST. At 1628 EST I received a standard email which said (in part),
"Thank you for your Travellers application to receive VAST satellite television services.
Services should now be enabled on your decoder." It also said about the 6 month term etc.
It looks like it might be an automated process because the form talked about processing in 48 hrs after next business day. Anyway all appears to be good.
When I checked this morning it was still the same as yesterday, ie only Qld bouquet. This is not surprising as it was the area I selected. There is no indication on the TV as to whether the auth is renewed or not. I will have to wait until the end of the month to see if it stops.

Thanks Rod sounds like you'll have another 6 months at least.
Cool that you got an email response, I still didn't get my first one from Dec. yet.
Has to be automated, they don't seem to be there during the week on the phone, doubt they would be there on weekends.
I'll be resubmitting my form soon, hope it goes as well.

Just to finish this thread, the standard Travellers form worked for me, got an automated email reply, almost instantly.
My 6 months was up at end of last month & I still have all the VAST services, sofa so good.
Thanks to all for your input.
