Default upgrade xbox s1 hdd (currently 80gig) to bigger drive

    Hi All,

as the kids are now 4 and 6 and a little more into games, my xbox s1 is started to be played again.

It's a hard modded box with an 80 gig hdd, I would like to up that to a 200 gig disk that I have, is there an "easy" (can I just us clonezilla or the like) way to do the update (keep current games etc..) or do I need to follow the original instruction like these

    thanks
    Matt

    Quick pointer,

setup a FTP connection and copy all your content onto a computer
install a 200GB HDD into the xbox
use the XBMC or AID installer discs to re-install the dashboard
    FTP content back onto xbox.

Easiest way i have found is to use a program called chimp and a molex power splitter, load chimp as an app in whatever dash you use and then you connect the power splitter and once you boot up the xbox into the modded dash disconnect the dvd rive and put the new hdd in its palce ( jumper as slave) . Then run chimp and choose to clone the original hdd onto the new hdd, then just power down set jumper as cable select and refit dvd and then boot up to the new hdd. Xboxhdm should work as being hard modded your hdd shouldnt be locked but i prefer to use chimp, i would also upgrade to 500gig -2tb sata while you are at it but you will need a sata to ide adapter that is known to work on the xbox.
