    Default PS3 power supply

I know its highly unlikely but does anyone know whether :

    1) A schematic is available

    failing that

    2) replacement p/s available(orig or aftermarket).

    1) No diagrams available

    2) yes expensive ~$220 (orig from a PS3) as you can see they are quite a complex little beast, I've had one US unit that lost regulation drew massive amount of current on the mains input and stuffed the PS3 main board. what is the problem with it.

Do u have 1 at that price Ramrod?
The fault is no DC o/p's....found a diode which has broken down(approx 30ohms) but I have no idea what type it is, markings are faint on top of it.
It only supplys 5V & 12V but i guess at alot more current.

    Ljay sorry mate
forum rules I dont want to profit and gain via threads I'll PM you.
Those PS3 P/s are massive the currnet on demand these things supply is awsome. Most of the components on the main board are custom made for Sony
Compared to the 360 these things leave them for dead.

    Cheers
