Default HDMI distribution over cat 5/6

Has had anyone had any experience with distributing a HDMI input to
multiple outputs over cat5/6 and having IR control back to the original device?

In particular I am looking at H4SPC5 HDMI 4WAY SPLITTER OVER CAT5/6

Radio Parts lists it at :

I am unclear whether this is a dedicated single output or a mutliple output device?
If it is multiple, then can each receiving end control the host input device via IR?

Are there any other devices which can achieve the same thing?

    Default

    Hi,
I've never used one, but as per manual it should do the job. It supports 3D as well, however the HDMI is 1.3b specification. I suppose the EDID transfer function will allow for that.

Strange, it seems to not to include at least one receiver so it will be additional cost for every receiver needed I suppose.

    Cheers

Default Distribution of HDMI : IR does not work with IQ2

Hopefully in the "next batch", the IR issue will be resolved.
