I would just use jtagtool as its a one stop program, no mucking around with other files required.

What type of nand read/write hardware are you using ? download jtag tool, then just select your console type, flash hardware (lpt or usb) and then read nand 3 times (select auto compare in settings) and when nands match write xellous to nand and then boot up to get cpu key. Then enter cpu key in jtag tool and then create image(bin file).

EFB is ok too, i like jtag tool as you dont even need to disconnect the wiring to get the cpu key so you can read nand and write freeboot in less than 10 mins start to finish.

    nice
I must admit once I worked out how to get the cpu key from xell, it was pretty straightforward after that!

also to dartronix, if you can't get into xbins, you can find most (if not all) of the programs you need on the xbox forums if you look around

Not sure what your trying to do but once you wirte freeboot to the nand thats it, you should be booting to freeboot image except when you use eject button to boot which brings you to xell/xellous.
The wiring stays in place otherwise you will get E79 error.

Without a dvd drive you will get the xell blue screen but you can boot freeboot without a drive you just need to start with a media remote or controller.
