    Default dream and bigpond

    I have a dream 500 and bigpond I have the network cable
    going straight to the wireless modem
    I have it working but not just right lol
    just trying to figure out the setting
    under the expert/communication's setup
    can anyone walk a dope through this lol

    Set the dream to dhcp and see what the dream picks up then change it to the static ip you want. Nameserver and gateway should be the ip of the modem or if you have a router connecting the modem for you then use the router ip.

    Thanks guys will try that tomorrow and see what happens
    I am not there at the moment to tell if it's Static or dhcp ip addy

    Dhcp fixed it all and the right port helps also lol
