    Default old vehicles

    I have a few in the shed/yard:

    Bikes:

    1929 AJS 350 - Licenced

Original unrestored, with matching engine and gearbox numbers, and it's staying unrestored.....

    1948 AJS 500 - licenced

been chopped in the sixties, but I have all the parts to return it to stock. has very rare all alloy 500 competition motor.

    1952 Sunbeam S8 - licenced

very original, 45000 miles, bought it from its original owner who brought it over from rhodesia. It was factory supplied in 1952 with the s7 frame .
Sunbeams were never supplied with matching engine and frame numbers.
Has the first s8 engine off the assembly line in 1952.

    1954 BSA 250 - Unfinished

Came from an old bloke who got too old to finish it.
reco motor and box - probably sell it to a decent offer.

    Car:

    1930 Chrysler 70 Roadster - licenced

original running gear, reco motor/box, newly spoked wheels.
bought it from my mates old man, he restored it, rebuilt the motor, spoked the wooden wheels - did the lot. Even hand forged the white metal bearings for the engine.
    Original Kalgoorlie car.
no idea what it is worth, but i am thinking of selling it, as i spend all my time on the bikes.

my mate has in my yard:

    1926/34/54 International trucks

You know for what it is, at 26K usd currently its very good value considering the currency conversion.

Now take into account values here, as Diavalo said there could be a few bucks to be made if there is a buyer.

It has also had a fairly recent frame off restoration as well, when the yanks restore a car they really get in to it.

No doubt hoe's machine is worth some money, but as you know receipts for work, books and history can make a lot of difference to price as well so its hard to really put a figure on it. What its worth and what people are prepared to pay for it can be 2 different things as well...

Great car though, I love the older stuff

    Default 1974 XB Fairmont Hardtop

I have a 1974 XB Fairmont Hardtop. 351ci 4Speed. I have had it since 1984 (my first car) and love it.

Great sound and a great experience to drive.
