    Hi all any one able to supply or advise where i can purchase a new slot 1 for the ds lite and daughters has bent some pins ?

    there are a lot of new slot 1 solutions out at the moment. good cheap cards such as EDGE, DSTT / TopToy DS, N5, R6 etc. all relatively cheap and do the job fine

    Default the socket

    are you talking about the socket that is soldered to the main board? thats what i am after.

    how bad are the pins ?
    I have seen quite a few with bent pins due to kids being very rough
    your best bet is to take the bugger apart and see if you can straighten them out , also with some fine emery paper , give them a good going voer at the same time . Unless you have broken pins , there should be no need to replace it mate

    If you can't fix it have the dstt and the ace kard 2 for around 35-40 with 2gb cards (free shipping too).

    pat he is talking about the DS itself , not bent pins on a game cart , the internal pins of slot 1 of the DS
    it is a bit of a common problem
