    Default 2012.20

Not to appear dumb, but what version of the maps should appear after I've installed the 2012.20 files. My1490 is showing 2011.20 in the "settings/Map/info" section.

Have I missed something after replacing the current img and JCV files in the correct directories ??

    Cheers

I can't seem to get the links to download properly - I keep ending up with an empty zip file?

Can anyone help me out with a working copy/links?

    Links work fine for me.

    Try using a download manager.

I worked out what's wrong. For some reason Linux will not recognise any files inside the archive, open it up on a Windows computer, no worries. Very odd.

Hi, I have a Garmin Nuvi 1390, do I need to download the Junction View separately, or is it included with these maps?

If I do need to download the junctionview separately, which version do I use? The one listed under UnLocked versions, or one of the following from the 2nd post - Junction View 37xx or Junction View 7xx?

Yes, junction view seperately, 2nd post 7xx for 1390.
    For why & more info

    Question Mapsource

    Hi,

I am trying to load the files into Mapsource and nRoute.

I have copied the files in the %APPDATA%GARMINMaps directory, but I can't the file in either Mapsource or nRoute.

    Any suggestion?

    Try putting the folder "City Navigator Australia And New Zealand NT 2012.20.gmap" in the following location for XP3;
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps

    For Vista, try; C:\Users\Your Identity\AppData\Roaming\GARMIN\Maps

For Win7 try google, Garmin maps Location.

Assume you know where the map select list is in Mapsource.
    Cheers, Tiny
